Finnish Goth Rockers The Rasmus are back. And this time it’s personal.

The Rasmus have experienced both edges of fame’s fickle sword. From the dizzying heights of breakthrough record “Dead Letters” to the accusations of HIM pop copyism and the humiliation of being bottled from the stage at last years Carling Weekend, they’ve been through the mill. …read more »

  • “Dead Letters” review [Malaysia]

Everybody has heard their hit single In The Shadows. Everybody has probably seen one of the three versions of the video for the song. You may even have seen them at Lollapalooza, collected all four albums, or been to their showcase in Hard Rock Cafe Kuala Lumpur a certain 19th July of 2004.
If you are a rock fan and are sick of hearing your friends sing it again and again, do not dismiss this band as a pop rock one-hit-wonder. Hey, I know you go “Guiltyyy whoa-oa-oa-oa-oa too!” …read more »

  • “Dead Letters” review [New Zealand]

With riveting tracks like Time To Burn and Not Like The Other Girls, you’ll have no need to listen to anything else. Here’s the best album I’ve heard in 2 years. …read more »

  • “Dead Letters” review [UK]

    Rasmus class act
I dread having to listen to rock bands that sound so a like that they might as well share the same official website.
The Rasmus looked the part and it was more due to scarcity of albums than anything else that prompted me to pop this one into the CD player.
Boy, was I wrong about these guys. The albums, despite being straight-forward pop rock, is full of energy and catchy riffs and appealing overall sounds. …read more »
