The Rasmus: Not for Eurovision [Finland]

The Rasmus, which is going to to Dynasty-tour with Mariko and Von Hertzen Brothers, will never take part in Eurovision Song Contest, even if they would ask it.

Mariko is going to participate in Finland’s Eurovision qualification with Kwan-band. The Rasmus’s soloist Lauri Ylönen tells to Voice that The Rasmus will never take part in Eurovision.

“That’s not a right forum for a band like us. We have managed to be heard in other ways. It doesn’t feel right to us.”

The Rasmus’s gold record Black Roses was the number one of this weeks Finland’s official album charts. Critics haven’t praised the album and the drummer of the band, Aki, told that bad rewievs do piss of, but the selling of the album shows its succes.

The Rasmus’s, Von Hertzen Brothers’ and Mariko’s common Dynasty-tour starts from Rytmikorjaamo, Seinäjoki, on Friday. The Voice is strongly aboard.
