The Rasmus told the Voice and music to news, why the duet with Nightwish-soloist Anette Olzon does not end in ‘Black Roses’ album.
The band’s soloist Lauri Ylönen and drummer Aki Hakala told that the song didn’t agreed with the disc around the theme.
“The album has as strong concept and the story goes through it. It was not a part of this story, and we wanted to bring it infect a disc. It was decided to publish it, maybe a single separately at a later date,” Ylönen said.
According to Hakala the song would fit brilliantly, for example, in one of the film, “It is the kind of movie countries of the landscapes. It could be one of the movie soundtrack.”
Both Lauri Ylönen and Aki Hakala hoping that the song will be published, and Ylönen bet that next year it will happens.
The Rasmus currently under circumvent Finland, together with the Von Hertzen Brothers and with Mariko. The tour begins today, Friday, from Seinäjoki. The Voice has been heavily involved with on tour.
