Hakaniemi market place
The “Hagis” market place is a cool place. I found it a year ago and now I go there regularly. The market place has an old, warm vibe of trading. Every old man who’s selling for example fish there knows everything about it. And they give time to the customer. You can go there and think what you should cook today and you’ll get tips. They also have got many things the others don’t.

Record Shop X
Äx is very proper record shop! Always you leave it you got five new cds. And you feel like you could stay and hang around there for longer too.

Restaurant Nokka
Nokka, located in Katajanokka, is a good place for the friends of Scandinavian food that prefers organic food. They also have good wines and it’s pretty peaceful place and you can ask them what’s recommended. They serve goods from small farms.

Töölönlahti Bay
If you go outside with a child, it’s nice to walk around Töölönlahti. I have been pushed in a baby carriage around Töölönlahti too. It’s a good feeling, now thirty years later, to take my own kid there.

Club Oranssi
When I used to go to Oranssi, it was an important place for youth culture. It’s like another living room and a shelter for some people. For me it was an important place where I could meet other “tribesmen”. There were alike tanglehaired people and many activities. And rebellion spirit like we against the others. From things like that you’ll get a lot of strength and self-confidence.
