30-03-2006: The Finnish Rock Band, The Rasmus Made a great show in Argentina with an excited auduence.
Really surprised for the exciting welcome of the audience on their first time in Argentina, the Finnish guys from The Rasmus gave the Pepsi Music Stadium a rock concert full of hits.
“This is our first time in Argentina and we feel very confortable” said tha bass player, Eero Heinonen, to show somehow the happiness and the surprise as well, for the screamings that arrived to the stage from an excited audience with short age but full of emotion.
The gig started 21:15 hours, first of all appeared Eero with the guitar player Pauli and the drummer Aki. The three musicians welcomed the charismatic singer Lauri Ylönen, who started the concert screaming “Porteños!”
You can listen “Night After Night” and then “Lucifer’s Angel” on a dark stage, not well iluminated and with a huge TR logo behind and the band dressed of black of course.
“Thanks, Finally we’re here” said Lauri and with a perfect spanish said: “Esto está muy bueno” (that means: This is quite good).
Then they sang: “Guilty”, “Shot”, “Keep Your Heart Broken”, “Still Standing”, “Last Generation” and “Immortal”.
Also, there was a space on the show, where the musicians from Helsinki, did some accoustic songs: “F-f-f-falling”, “Liquid” and “Funeral Song”. “los quiero a todos” Said Lauri once again in perfect spanish. (That sentence means “I Love You All”)
“First Day Of My Life”, “In My Life”, and the nicest “Sail Away” (the last one with some cell-phones) were the songs that they sang next on the tracklist.
“Heart Of Misery” and “No Fear” were the last ones. A huge finnish flag, was a present of the fan club from here with the text: Bienvenidos a la Argentina (Welcome to Argentina).
The band did the final greeting and and then they came back for three more songs, with Aki and Eero dressing the t-shirt from Argentina selection: “Rakkauslaulu”, “In The Shadows” and “Don’t Let Go” they finished the show definitly, but they didn’t go till Eero started to sing a famous tango from here: “La Cumparsita” when Lauri took Aki and they started dancing.
