Sun instead of sand storm – this time the weather gods played their part…
Respiring for The Rasmus: After the Finns had to stop their video shoot for the song “Shot” (release 7.4.) in Fuerteventura at the beginning of February because of a sand storm (Yam! 08/06), everything went well at the second try.
For placating the weather gods the guys came up with a very special ritual. Eero: “Before the shoot we climbed on the holy hill Tinsaya, which can be seen in the background in our clip, for making sure that everything will work out.”
Next are the notes to the pictures:
(1) Rare view: Aki (26) “topless” in the mask!
(2) At sunrise the first clack falls. Still it’s bitterly cold, later everyone will get a sunburn.
(3) Lauri (26) paints his face.
(4) Failed the job? Pauli (26) dabbles with the drums, Lauri with the guitar.
(5 & 6) The clip lives on extensive camera settings (Lauri “falls” out of the screen) and camera drivings (for example with a big crane).
(7) Cheers! During the breaks The Rasmus drink litres of coffee in the campmobile.
(8) Eero: “A baby goat visited us at the set – cute!”
(9) The main thing is that the weather plays along! Even the stink of a cadaver (not the baby goat!) is tolerated by everyone…
