Video shoot blown off [Germany]

Tough luck for Lauri, Aki, Eero and Pauli: They had to give up to a mean sandstorm at the set of their new video…
Fuerteventura, in February. In the meagre scenery at the foot of the holy hill Tindaya the new video for Shot (coming end of March now) is supposed to be filmed.
Could be quite nice, whilst people in Finland are freezing we have 20°C here already! But unfortunately exactly today the island with the name consisting of “fuerte” = strong and “ventura” = wind is afflicted by a storm…
“We’re used to bad weather and have filmed in pouring rain and 40°C – but I’ve never experienced anything like this before!”, Lauri screams against the wind.
It’s force 8 on the wind scale and total chaos rules the set. Stools, tents, lights are simply blown over, the sand that’s blown into the air is making the boys’ eyes water. Still the boys couregeously continue performing to the playback.
“Do I have to climp up that hill naked to make the weather get better?”, Pauli jokes.
The band is even trying to soften the weather gods by doing a indian dance.
In vain. The film team decides to postpone the video shoot for a few weeks. Disappointment is written into the faces of all. Aki shrugs: “Well, we’re powerless against the weather!” And Lauri adds grinning: “Apparently two witches are supposed to live on that hill. If we get on their right side, it’ll work next time for sure…”

The little comments:
Lauri top right: Lauri against the natural forces! But this time Lauri loses…
left of the big A: That’s the end! Team member Patrizia shows the cancelling.
Lauri&camera: The silence before the storm: During the first take it is “only” raining.
Over the yellow sticker: Just go through it? Nearly impossible with this sand storm.
bottom left: Department: Lauri &co on the way to the airport.
right of the big A: Gone with the wind: Still, the band is playing…
bottom right: We’ll come back! The video shoot is sceduled to be redone in a few weeks.
