The Rasmus Goes to the Habbo Hotel! [Finland]

The singer Lauri Ylönen and the drummer Aki Hakala visited, for the happiness of many fans, Habbo Hotel on September. The guys admitted that they were in Habbo for the first time, but it didn’t seem to hinder the enthusiasm or goings-on.

The atmosphere was in the ceiling in the Suosikki-room, as Lauri and Aki were answering to the flood of questions of excited fans. Questions were flooding from habboing to music and from hairstyle to the secrets of celebrity.
The visiters of Habbo Hotel had also the possibility to join the competition, where they could ask from The Rasmus the question they chose.

Here are the winning questions with their answers.

HeidiSusanna: What is the feeling?
Lauri: A very interactive feeling.
Aki: Pretty exciting time we’re living, when the cd has come out and you hear for the first time, what the fans like about it. Some very good positive itching in the air.

ManiNami: When was the first time you realized that you’re celeb and that you have fans?
Lauri: Then, when we played in Jyrki sometime in the year 95.

Clara1: Why are you exact The Rasmus, and not for example the Seppo?
Lauri: Because The Seppo-name was already reserved.

Grystal-91: Do you always have some “luck-bringing object” with you in the gigs, for example a teddy bear from the childhood or smelling tennis socks?
Lauri: I have like a energy-including stone in the bag. I got it last year from an Indian in Mexico.
Aki: A smelling drum-technician.

eleviira: The strangest fanpost?
Aki: Some Finn, a bit older woman, who had also been in a daily paper as an evening girl, sent her photos and asking to marry. It was pretty different. Well those naked pictures do always surprise.
Lauri: While waiting for the summer…

kilpailija4321: What’s the craziest thing a fan of yours has made?
Aki: The scorpion’s Klaus Meine and Rudolf Schenker came to us in Germany asking for an autograph to a football. After that we took lots of pictures with other’s modelgirlfriend.
Lauri: Someone has taken the whole back’s size Lauri-tattoo. Taking little bit pity on her boyfriend.

Goldika: How are you so lovely and cute?
Aki: We were brought up to that.

Akke47: How much will you rock this year?
Aki: All the time.
Lauri: Right to the end of course.

Mc-Rikaz: When you were a little kid, did you dream about this; that you’ll get to a band to sing and rock?
Aki: At least I dreamed becoming a fire man and that I would get to save people. The other alternative became true. The second is okay too.
Lauri: I wanted to be a cook. My bravour is fish.

Laurien: What’s the secret of your success?
Lauri: Hard work and extra(/additional) self-confidence.
Aki: The faith in self. You have to be crazy enough and set the aims high.
