“Hide From The Sun” review [Norway]

The Rasmus
Hide From The Sun
Universal

There was many who felt that “In the Shadows” was one of the most ennoying rocksongs ever. But the breakthrough for the finnish The Rasmus led to that the got a wide audience, and at the same time was off-written as a boring popband of heavyrockers.
They actually had to leave the stage under a few conserts in England, because threw bottles at them, But here they are back with a harder and at the same time a more available album.
They come out as a heavyrock answer of Kent, and it fits them actually. Me myself thinks the baddest song on the album is “No Fear”, wich sounds like a song Return threw off their last album.
But seen away from the single, wich will be played on the radio for months, just wait and se, this is a good album actually! It’s just to accept that they chynically tries to be most “saleable” as possible.
Even us who wants more traditional heavyrock, gets answer that in “Dead Promises” and “Immortal”, the first one in extraordinary interaction with ****** Apocalyptica. We will here this album everywhere the next months. It could have been worse!
