Fan’s questions [Sweden]

Question: Why is it butterflies in the new video and the new album and will you wear butterflies in your hair now instead of feathers Lauri? (from Karolina Gorrachategui Agentina)
Lauri: The butterflies is a symbol of the music. It’s something beutiful, but also very fragile and somehow it’s a symbol of the beauty and the beast and no don’t worry I won’t have any butterlies in the hair.
Pauli: We were in Sweden to record the new album and then me and Lauri begun discuss what to have on the cover and had some different ideas and we passed a field of flowers and there was also butterflies and then I thought. Ahh there we have it. It can be cool so I went back to the studio and begun photoshop some butterflies ideas.

Question: You’ve done 6 album and you’ve changed all the time. Was it natural or did you decide now we are gonna change the sound? (from Sofia)
Lauri: The biggest change came with Aki and it’s already 6 years ago.
Eero. Yeah we changed very much then and before we used to have saxophones in the sound as well, but then we decided to do it just simple and just being a rockband and it worked very well.
Pauli: And when Aki joined we also begun to take it more seriously actually considering this as a way to live at.

Question: Why did Janne leave the band? (from Rasmus fan nr 1)
Eero: He wasn’t so much in it and he wanted to do other things and he wasn’t that intrested in doing music.

Question: Lauri isn’t it embarresing doing so personal music. I really like the message in the music (from Jennifer, Idre)
Lauri: The most personal things are always hidden, but in same time I wanna be personal too its very important for me, but I don’t wanna be like Eminem who tells us everything. It’s important to have some secrets I think.

Question: Could you ever date a fan?
Eero: No not like it is right now.
Lauri: It’s a difficult because if you meet someone who is a fan you don’t feel on same wavelength.

Question: Who has girlfriends? (Frida Ängelholm)
Pauli: We have a lot of girlfriends.
Lauri: Yeah one in every city hehe.
Eero: I don’t have any girlfriend.

Question: Lauri would you ever want children in the future? (from Anna)
Lauri: Of course I want children some time, but they need time and it’s not something I have right now.

Question: What is the craziest thing a fan have done? (from Sofia)
Pauli: The craziest must be the fan in Germany who has a tatoo with Lauri on the whole back.
Lauri: I have never seen it, but yes that is crazy ( laughed very much here too).

Question: Lauri, when did you do your first tattoo? (from Ana)
Lauri: Oh well I dont remember that well, but a few years ago and it’s my dynasty one that are some friends I share many good memories with.

Question: Who are your idols? (from Lisa Johansson)
Lauri: We like Red hot chilli peppers. Both for the music and then they seem to have so fun as well and they have been together so long even though they have had so many set backs.

Question: What was your dreams as children? (from Elin)
Pauli: I wanted to be a he man.
Eero: I wanted to be an astronaut.
Aki: I wanted to be a fireman, but it changed to a rockstar pretty soon.
Lauri: The only thing I wanted was to have 6 on a boat. Something I still dream about.
