    At the end of may the sky over Stockholm shows a nearly immaculate blue, just isolated harmless veil clouds slippes in front of the sun, which let the thermometer rises up to for scandinavian relations nearly midsummerly temperatures.     Publicity cirkus around The Rasmus is spinning faster than ever. Lauri Ylönen is one of the most followed rockstars in Europe.
    The Rasmus singer Lauri Ylönen is spending a rare day off in Stockholm. Trasher hoodie turns out to be too hot, because our neighbour country is bathing in hot sunshine. Ship terrace’s corner spot fits fine for Ylönen because the Finnish musician is easily recognized in our western neighbour. Swedish coolness disappears every now and then and Lauri gets to sign autographs in streets, stores and restaurants. …read more »

  • The Finnish invasion [UK]

    Along with country mates Nightwish, The Rasmus are another band to suddenly burst onto the scene in the UK from nowhere. Although perhaps a little on the borders of the Goth scene, they do have their lovers and haters within the Goth scene, and some even tout that The Rasmus could introduce ‘newbies’ to the scene.
