Crazy, crazy nights [UK]

How was your weekend?
ANYTHING HAPPEN? Manage to meet any bands, live it up in a five star hotel or be chauffeur driven around town? Thought not. If, however, you had been Alastair Brown or Chris Marsden, winners of our ‘Freakiest Weekend’ competition, that’s exactly the weekend you would have had. Courtesy of Nik Naks, the freakiest crisps around, your Friday would have meant being flown to Glasgow with £300 in your back pocket. You would have been met by a chauffer at the airport who would have you whizzed you in his stretch limo to the Glasgow Hilton. Then you’d have been treated to all the luxury of a five star hotel, to shopping expeditions to stock up on your clothes, mp3 players and anything else you might fancy.
The next day would have meant more of the same before you were whisked to the Glasgow Barrowland to exclusively watch The Rasmus soundcheck before they invited you backstage to hang out with the band before the show.
“It was absolutely incredible,” sighs Alastair. “The band are amazing and they were so nice to us. They signed all their albums for us, they’re a really great bunch of people. They played amazingly at the show, too” .
The Rasmus’ Lauri Ylönen was almost as chuffed. “Meeting fans makes this all worthwhile,” beams the front man. “It means so much to us when we meet people who really love and understand what we do.”
