  • Finnish pie [Canada]

    The Rasmus come back a second time in 6 months, with his pop, heavy rock and gothic mix.
    It is a true love story who is writing between the Québec and The Rasmus: in Canada, 88% of the 50 000 copies of the Dead Letters album have been bought in the Belle Province, wich makes of it the most important market in North America. We won’t astonish ourselves of the fact that the Finnish come back in the country for a second time in less than 6 months, adding the old capital in their visits. …read more »

  • Lauri Ylönen makes his choice [Russia]

    On the 15th October, Finnish group The Rasmus gave energetic show on stage of Manegh Kadetskogo Korpysa in Saint-Petersburg. Fans selflessly joined band in singing, intimately supported idols and even fainted. Lauri Ylonen was satisfied with the concert and played two songs an encore.

  • The Rasmus: we can’t get out because everybody recognize us [Spain]

    We went to Wien to see the finnish band preformering and interviewing them before their trip in Spain. There we found out that they keep enjoying like the first day on stage, altough each of them has a different personality.
    It is 4 PM when we get to Gasometer, some old deposits of gas were turning into a room… outside of Wien.

    Hands up for all those who have yet to hear In The Shadows – thought not! It is just one of those annoyingly itchy songs, which we have been unable to escape from in the past few months of its radio and music TV domination.

  • “First Day Of My Life” review [USA]

    The Rasmus – First Day Of My Life: New single from the Grammy Winning Finnish Rock Band’s 2004 Release, ‘Dead Letters’. Especially love the beginning of this song and the guitars are awesome (the track gets very catchy after awhile). It is being my most ‘easy’ review of the week: once again I have to give this Finnish band as well as all of their singles previously, 5 stars. BUY IT! …read more »

  • For one song, for one video! [Germany]

    Ville: “I hope this song will enter the top of the charts in every country!”
    Well, this could become true, because it’s a big thing that the 3 finnish bands Apocalyptica, HIM and The Rasmus are releasing a song together. It’s a ballad called “Bittersweet”, which’s even the theme song for the PC game “Die Siedler”. But how got they together?
