Accident at the Reading Festival

The Rasmus were forced to cut short their first performance at the Reading Festival 2004 when bassist Eero Heinonen was hit in the face by an object thrown by someone in the crowd. Eero received medical treatment to his right eye in the backstage area at the festival immediately after the band left the stage.
The band wanted to apologise to fans who attended the Festival in having to cut their set short.
The Festival performance on Sunday 29th August was the final date out of four for The Rasmus, following two sold out gigs at Glasgow Barrowlands and Nottingham’s Rock City, and their appearance at the Leeds Festival.
