The Rasmus: Dead Letters
You may think you’ve not really heard anything from this four-piece Finnish rock combo before, but in fact they released a CD in February 1998 entitled Into, though it was only released in the US.
Their latest release, Dead Letters is full of bigger and better things, including the dead catchy In The Shadows and the sombre but thought-provoking Funeral Song. So thought-provoking in fat., Marilyn Manson is said to be a huge fan of theirs.
Judging by their electrifying, though not live performance of In The Shadows on Easter Saturday’s CD:UK, this band’s gonna be quite big, though something tells me it’s not gonna be just rock fans that are gonna be buying their CDs – I saw quite a few young teenyboppers in that CD:UK audience, clapping and jumping up and down to The Rasmus – something that lets the band down, with the lead singer’s boyish good looks and all.
Dead Letters was released on March 22nd and the band are currently on a world-tour, playing London and Glasgow in June this year. If you wanna know more about them, and listen to some rocking tracks such as Guilty, Not Like The Other Girls and F-F-F-Falling, then check them out later in the year.
